Branding Change
Exciting Changes for 2025: New Branding and Image
While we absolutely loved the branding from 2024, we felt that for this year, it was time to inject a bit more colour and energy into our identity. Vikki came up with a fantastic concept, which was then brought to life by our long-time friend of the festival, Joolze Dymond. Joolze developed the new branding for both Dark Peak Photo and Dark Peak Photo Lite.
We’re embracing change and may continue to evolve the branding over time. In fact, we’re considering adding a new colour each year as a variation on a theme—giving each year’s festival its own distinctive flavour.
A New Image for 2025
In addition to the refreshed branding, we needed an image that would capture the essence of the festival for our website and marketing materials. We decided to revisit the open call entries from 2024 and were drawn to the work of photographer Andrew Procter. After reaching out, we’re thrilled to announce that Andrew has kindly allowed us to use his striking image for 2025.
This collaboration came about through Andrew’s participation in our open call. We want to emphasise that by entering the open call, photographers are not only showcasing their work—they’re also introducing themselves to us as potential collaborators. We’re excited to partner with Andrew and are proud to feature his work in our festival this year.
Looking Ahead
We hope you love the new logo and image for 2025 as much as we do. As always, the festival is evolving, and we’re excited to see how our community continues to grow and develop. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
