The remnants of an old pair of shoes found on the river’s edge near Miller’s Dale. Who knows how long they had been there. They were small in size, so perhaps belonged to a woman or a child. I wonder what life was like for the person who wore them. Found objects like this return our thoughts from the present to the past . I left them where they were for someone else to discover.
